Well, as is no doubt apparent by the date of this post and subsequent posts before it, Transformer mania is still gripping this household hard! We've moved up from simply enjoying the recent live action film and the newest iteration of the animated series to delving truly into the depths of this ever expanding universe!
And more to the point, and rather vague reference to in the title of this post:

This was perhaps one of my favorite takes on the Transformers mythology. It was different, shifting the focus off of robots that turned into things like cars, trucks and airplanes... to a show about robots that turned into life like animals!! ...no wonder it took people a while to get into this show. Though once you gave this show a chance, looked passed the obvious flaws and took it for what it was, you would be blown away.
Beast Wars was developed by Mainframe Studios as their second fully 3-D animated television show. By today's standards it's a bit low-tech, but when it first hit the air in 1996, this was revolutionary! But the animation was only one part of the puzzle, with exceptional, if not campy, writing for each of it's three seasons, Beast Wars evolved from a stock action-comedy series, to one that has only been rivaled by the new Transformers Animated.
Well, I suppose that's enough nerdy nostalgia for the moment. I will most likely return with more at some point... but until then!
